Take a trip to a historic golf course, Taiwan Golf & Country Club, also known as the Danshuei Golf Club, in Danshuei. With a view of Mt. Guanyin in the distance, you will be challenged by the winds from the ocean and the river while you play through wooded areas and gorgeous greens.
The country club was built in the 1918, and later destroyed when it was bombed in World War II, having been fully restored to a better than ever condition, you will be experiencing history while you enjoy your day of golf. The course is a par 72, and is the oldest course in Taiwan.
A perk to golfing in Taiwan, is that the green fees are significantly cheaper than the surrounding nations Japan, China and South Korea.

FORE! Lee Westwood ball ends up in a woman's shirt !!!
Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
